ALGOCHEM’s magnetic agitation for standard process reactors

At Algochem, our engineers have designed a magnetic coupling device that will simplify the way process chemists agitate or stir contents in their reactors.

      The device consists of an anodised aluminium element, a magnet with PTFE reinforced glass fibres and a lock & unlock feature to maintain air tightness in your reactors.

      The process chemist can easily purge or vacuum their reactors by adjusting a simple nut in the device to create open or closed systems.

      The device is chemically inert and has high thermal stability to cater for corrosive & high temperature processes at scales of up to 10 litres or more

      The device helps to prevent glass breakages and reactor ‘wobble’ by using a permanent magnet to couple to the stirrer shaft mechanism

      The device can accommodate stirrer shafts of diameters up to 10mm and allow the height of to be adjusted for changing the position of your stirrer without difficulty.

      ALGOCHEM’s magnetic agitator weighs 200grams and has dimensions (length 20cm & diameter 5cm)

      Different magnetic agitators (20 Ncm, 40Ncm...) are available to suit your reactor size
